Welcome to the Bibliotheque Parrainage Blog!

Bibliotheque Parrainage: New Orleans Adopts a Library in Haiti was created to foster the rebuilding of Haitian communities by providing resources to libraries devastated by the 2010 earthquake. Following Hurricane Katrina, the country of Haiti, one of the poorest countries in the world, donated $40,000 to the City of New Orleans. We want to give back the $40,000. Help us by donating to Bibliotheque Parrainage to build libraries that can provide resources, information, water, communication and meeting places for the struggling communities in Haiti. Bibliotheque Parrainage believes that libraries Build Communities and like Haiti, we believe there is union in strength. Here’s how you can help.
